I made a change in ver .015 that hopfully fixes the following bug.

NOTE: A BUG

There is still a bug in the game that will make the winner of the last game lose a game when he hits the play button to start a new game....

If this happens to you, you might have to leave the game room (all players) and start again..

If it does happen to you, please leave a note in the forum in the bug section . Thank You !

How to play

this is the first screen

 A the top under "user control panel" enter your name

to play maze race select a charachter from the left.

simply click "maze race" button to coninue .

You can also select to play in full screen mode at the bottom left.

After hitting "maze race" button you will get this screen !

This is the multiplayer lobby !! It will connect to a public server and show a list of people in the lobby, which you can chat with !

To Start a game, you must create a room, do this at the bottom of the screen where it says "game name/ room" type a name for your room in the box, whatever you want, and tell who ever you want to play the name of your game . use private message so noone else can join the game . . this creates a private game

to private message somone click their name in the list at the top right and then send message by clicking the "private button" once ready..click "join"

also note:

in the future you will be able to host your own game, which is what the "join private server" button is for . .

Also, if you are a member of my Hamachi network, you can join the hamachi server simply by clicking "join hamachi server" you must have Hamachi, and have it running, also, I must have the game server running . .if it does not connect, simply go back to main server !!

Ok, you have created your game name, and told your friend and have clicked .. join

this is the main game window, the chat area

Not much to do until your opponent connects, note the 2 yellow buttons at the bottom, top says "Voice On" if you check this button, and a player sends a message to you, you will hear it, it will be read to you ! That way you dont miss messages while playing the game ! The bottom one says "Auto Switch" selecting this one will automatically switch screens during the game, there are 2 main screens in the game, "your maze" and your "opponents maze" . When its your turn to play it will auto switch to the opponents maze screen so you can move, and when your turn ends . it will again auto switch to your maze, so you can watch your opponent move in your maze !!

ok, lets move on . .your opponent has connected and you see a "play" button and you can see your opponent in the chat room

so lets play !!! click the "play" button and you are taken to this screen

wait for your opponent to click his/her play button and then you can start to build your maze

To build your maze, if you move your mouse over a yellow line , a light red wall will appear, click it to place a wall, click again to delete wall. . .. continue adding wall to build a maze..

In the next screen you can see I have built my maze

now I will hide my flag in the maze, to do this, click the "flag button" and will get this screen

click the yellow box in the square where you want to hide you flag, and your flag will appear there . .see next screen

you can see I've hidden my flag on the far right, 4th row down .

you can change the position by clicking the flag button again..

if you are satisfied with your maze and flag position . .click "Finish" button !!!

you will now see a small blob character on the left and a new button . you must move the blob abd capture your own flag !!

This is to make sure your flag is in a place in can be captured by your opponent . . if your flag is blocked, click the new long buttong and fix it, then click finish again . . once your blob captured your flag, you'll getthis screen !!

the message simply says . waiting for the other player to finish..there is nothing else to do until your opponent finishes his maze!! so you can bug him with some chat messages while you wait

So, if you started the game, when your opponent is ready, you will see the next screen . .

the start button will appear, click it to start the game . .you should then switch to your opponents maze so you can make you move..seen in next screen

if you joined the game someone else made, you will not see the start button, when start is hit, a mesage will say your opponent is playing, and should see your opponent moving in your maze

as you can see, i started the game and moved into my opponents maze, notice the floor turned a lighter color, this shows where you have been, I ran into a wall and it appeared, now my opponent will move. . .

arrows show which way i moved, in case i need to escape the maze . .right click on any square to show arrow . . left click to change the arrows direction . . right click again to delete the arrow

simply keep going back and forth until someone finds a flag, then play again . .who ever loses the game, gets to start the next one

 when game is over, all maze walls will appear so you can see where you are if you didnt find the flag !!!

click play to start new game !!!

I highly recommend turning auto switch on so you keep up with turns !!

you can send mesage from any screen in the dark yellow box, hit send or enter to send messages

ok .. notice

if either player loses a connection to the game, you need to return to lobby and start a new game, this weill be fixed in the future
